Follow the show with captioning and subtitles in our theatres.

Our captioned performances are designed for audience members who are D/deaf, deafened or hard of hearing, as well as anyone who benefits from seeing the spoken dialogue in text form.

During the performance, captions are displayed on a screen positioned near the stage, showing the spoken dialogue, speaker identification and important sound effects in real time. This allows audiences to follow the performance while enjoying the action on stage.

We reserve seats with clear sightlines to both the stage and the captioning screen. Priority tickets for captioned performances are available to members of the Marlowe’s Access Scheme, which you can join online for free. For details and to sign up, visit this page.
